The Computer Science Department (CSD) is an University of Évora scientific and educational unit with the following missions: teaching, research, and extension activities, as well as speciallized consulting services in the area of Informatics and computer science.
The CSD is the responsible for the majority of the lective units in the "Computer Science Engineering", and "Computer Science" Master, cooperating actively in "Informatics and Managment", and "Mathematics and Computer Science" degrees, as well as in the "Archives, Libraries and Information Science" Master.
In the Bologna's adequation process scope these degress are under restructuring (for the year 2007/2008)
The CSD cooperates actively with the I&D center CITI - "Centro de Investigação em Tecnologias de Informação" in several activities, namely:
