Travel and Conference Information

You should fly to the Lisbon Airport, and then take a bus to Évora from the Lisbon Bus Terminal at Arco do Cego, for 1,750 PTE (8,75 EURO) one-way trip. The best way to reach the Bus Terminal from the airport is by taxi for, at most, 1,500 PTE (7,5 EURO).
Evora is about 140 Km southeast of Lisbon, by highway, and the bus takes around 2 hours to get there.

Here are the links for the timetables of buses from Lisbon to Évora, and back (more information on Portuguese buses can be found here).

How to reach the conference site

AGP'01 will take place at the Computer Science building of Univ. Évora, which is called "Colégio Luís Verney" and is in the street "Rua Romão Ramalho, 59", near the "S.  Francisco" church.
Once in the building, you'll find indications of how to reach the conference room -- "Auditório 1".

The map below indicates the driving path (red) and the walking path (yellow) between the bus station and the conference building (black dot).
The white path links the bus station to the main University building (Colégio do Espírito Santo) and the red buildings are the University buildings in Évora.
