Title: ASdeCopas: a syntactic-semantic interface

Abstract: In this paper we present ASdeCopas, a syntax-semantic interface based on hierarchically organized, intrinsically independent rules. We emphasize the following points: rules can be applied in any order; information can be monotonically added to the system; partial results are produced. Moreover, variable generation is ``controled''. The subsumption relation between semantic rules is formally presented. An example illustrates the whole system.
