Title:	Web Information Retrieval with Result Set Clustering

Abstract:	When using traditional web search engines, users have to describe their information needs using terms and operators, and usually have the results presented as a ranked list of matching documents. Although very effective to experienced users, existing systems are still not suited for a wide range of important tasks, in particular on helping users with information needs that are broad, vague, or hard to express through a set of keywords. This paper reports our work on enhancing tumba!, a specialized search engine for the Portuguese web, with a results set clustering functionality.
